Hummingbird Teacake and Chocolate Cookies

Hi everyone!

I’m just popping in to let you guys know what you’ve missed on Baking, and Everything!

Hummingbird Cake doesn’t seem very common (or at all common) in the states, so I made my own, adapted from a beautiful AIP-friendly recipe for Banana Teacake. If you have some brown bananas and are tired of regular banana bread, this is for you!

 

There’s really no need to try to sell these cookies. They’re rich, sweet, and double chocolate chip. Better yet, they’re paleo and nut free!
